I really enjoyed this book, I liked how I was able to connect with both Rachel and Burke but also how the characters connected with each other. At the start of the book we find out how Rachel has come to Cougar Falls and we also find out a bit more about her past. We are told how she has recently divorced her husband for cheating but he has left her broke so although she felt that going to Cougar Falls was a chore, she also has no other choice but to go. Enter Burke, the very sexy and very manly Ac-Taw (shape shifter) who brings out Rachels wild side when they collide in an alleyway and have a very graphic sexual encounter. The book then goes on to give us a brief background centred on the famous Totem, which guards the town of all negativity and keeps the peace and harmony balanced for all the residents of cougar falls. Rachel and Burkes personal and sexual relationship intensifies as they rush to discover the whereabouts of the totem before the grey wolf clan can make a claim on it.

This book contained mild erotica but even if its not your style of book I would highly recommend you give it a try as it was a very good storyline which left me wanting to find out more about Rachel and Burkes relationship in the future.I will definately be reading more in the AC-Taw series from Marie Hart as she definately knows how to tell a good story and keep her readers gripped.
